I ordered a ricks custom shiftboot, and when i was installing it i broke the piece that holds it in place.the aluminium piece. I was wondering if anybody has an extra one or knows were to get one. please please help me.
If its the part that was already there, stock Honda part, then I'd chek with trevor at H and A Accessories. He can ship a part out quickly and usually has a great price too. Dependable vendor and a sponsor of this board too! best part is he's in the West Coast, so he may be able to ship still today if you contact him ASAP!. Good luck.
The same thing happened to me! I went to my Honda dealer and they told me the part was not available seperately and that I would have to buy the complete console for $175.00
I ebded up gluing mine back togeter and covering it in suedo- carbon fiber for $20.00!!!
I did the same thing, so I ordered Honda JDM titanium pieces to cover the plastic shift boot retainer and the cup holder lid. It cost me about $180, which I think is a better investment than replacing the boot.
I used to have the pictures posted on photopoint, but I can email you a couple.
