Default BMW 5-series and S2k.

Well i've been driving my 530i for quite a while now without even touching my s2k. For about a month. All i can say is wow. I have never appreciated my car more. When i first got my silverstone/black from the dealer i dont remember it being this fun. It's just everything about this car is SO much better. When people come up to me and say "Wow i'd never spend 35k on a HONDA" it sickens me. I mean who pays all this money for a benz or a bmw when most of what youre paying for is the tag, not the CAR. Shouldn't it be about the METAL and not the name? The BMW 530i is roughly 45k and it doesnt even come close to the s2k. The only thing i liked about the bmw was that it had maximum grip at every situation. I could floor it on turns and i would lose no traction. The s2k is just SO good. Yea i know these are two totally different cars, but out of all the cars i've ever driven, nothing comes close to this. Anyway i'm just rambling because i cant believe i stayed away from my car for so long and i feel kind of high off the exhaust fumes.

god i love this car.

I absolutely agree! It is really nice to have two totally different cars that each perform well in their category, especially if one is a sedan and the other the S2000. I love it when i switch back to either car and appreciate their respective strengths..but getting in the S2000 really gets the heart pumping. It is just a thrill to drive everytime! I still go out to the garage and stare and wipe her down thinking ,"Man what a beautiful car!"

We are truly lucky!

If you really want to take'er for a spin, bring your S up to Laguna Seca this coming monday for the S2KCA event!

Though, sometimes, I just want a quieter drive and the MDX or RSX seems better.
