Just for fun tomorrow morning....call your local Honda Parts Garage and ask them how much an OEM header is. I bet you could by three or four Ebay headers for that price.

My point is....don't mod unless you can do it better than Honda. This is not to put you down but rather, if cost is going to be a concern in modding your car, then you need to put the money in the best possible places. Just trying to help and to see you spend wisely

[QUOTE=S2kracka,Jan 21 2007, 01:50 AM]Mugen/Rick's is a waste of money in my mind since they provide no gains up top, for the S2k I want top-end gains, i could careless about midrange gains.

Since you're asking for opinions...there are many things I'd rather spend $200-$300 than a header that may or may not make two horsepower and that may or may not crack in a month or two. Come on.

I have the header as well as my ex g/f on her N/A S. Her car was not dynoed, but no real noticable difference driving. The test pipe made the largest noticable difference.

I have a before dyno and after dyno with the Megan on my s/c. Some may say my after dyno is inconclusive because 4 out of the 6 runs I didnt hit full boost, but the 2 runs I did showed a 10-15whp lose. Ill post it if you want, but just going to take time for me to find the right dyno's. I have a ton from multiple tunes to go through.

The reason I bought the header was for the SS look, not because it was suppsoed to make hp. I didnt care to much about a few HP lose. I can always just up the boost to make up for it.
