poll: sell which one of two to buy a s2000
i'd like to buy a 2004 Honda s2000, but i'm having trouble deciding which one of my existing two cars to sell towards a purchase of a new s2000: the 2004 nissan titan kingcab 4wd pickup or the 2004 honda element ex awd -- i want to keep one of these two as the more practical family car to complment a new s2000 roadster.
what do you think, please?
my views...
titan: fast-for-4wd-truck highway cruiser, has fit seven for a beach party (six seat belts), decent off roader (compared to a wranger rubicon). 0 o 60 mph in 7 sec. fun to drive on hwy or on trails.
element: mini-rv seats four sleeps two, not-too-slow for a small station wagon, lots of cargo room. 0 to 60 mph in 8 sec. very practical, more fun to drive than i would have thought, esp. on the beach.
s2000: fun for two (on roads only).
i want to pick two of these three. there's three of us in our household (we own our home). mpg issue ... i do not care (heck i owned a new jeep wranger that got 8~13 mpg for eight years)

My thoughts:
Do you own a home? If so, you'll need the Titan to haul supplies for home maintenance & projects.
Do you plan on racing the S2000? If so, the Titan may get the nod again, assuming it's strong enough to tow the S on a trailer.
Can you get a (removable) topper for the truck? If so, it would have as much cargo space as the Element.
Otherwise, the Element is probably more economical, and sufficient for most other duties. Plus it's a Honda, which is always a good thing.
Ultimately, you have to decide which one fits your needs best. I'd probably lean towards the Titan, though.
