go 10%. darker the better. help keep heat out and help from fading

 

If he did 10%, then he wouldnt have to worry about a car sice it would be impounded.

 

In NY its pretty high (like nothing under 80%) legally, wont get pulled over unless its under 50%...
but i also heard that windows are not clear and a tinted like 10% (not tint film but color of glass) from the factory so anything under 90% in NY would be illegal (100%-10%-10%=80%)

I've got 5% on the sides and back of mine. It's a silverstone. With our climate here in the desert I rarely have the top up on my S. Right now in the summer only in the heat of the afternoon do I have to put the top up.

ive got 5% on my sides and back... new formula red/black... its really really dark and hard to see out of at night but it looks great with the top up... i think it makes the sleek mystic look of it and makes it greater... makes people want to see in this mysterious little car that we all hold so dear to us

 

Get 1% tint!

Um..to answer the original question, my Prelude was tinted at 20% here in NY. It was just right in my opinion. A previous car had 35% and that was too light.
