Btw, my engine paint was looking like that, I think its like brake fluid spill...or it was made defective during those years. I peeled mine off and repainted it bright ass green.. :B

I say we take up a collection, buy it, put it out of it's misery. Looks like it was painted with a roller (some of it actually looks good but something is fun-kee with some of the bodykit...) and I suspect being submerged in salt water for a week has something to do with the engine looking all beat up. The brakes are painted red, along with the clips, pads, etc. Must have just taped off the rotor and let it rip with a rattle can.
