my gf sent me this a while back. this really sucks. regardless of the car (price, etc), this should never happen!

the things that grabbed my attention:

1. the tech assuming he is Asian b/c of some TYPOS (mainly). wtf? couldn't it have been ANY OTHER non-english speaking country? or just a bad day? overall, his composition skills were good. erh?

2. "i love driving the car, i just hate owning it"

3. windows that have a mind of their own.

4. dashboard going crazy....would make me think i'm about to be abducted by aliens (like in all the movies, etc..haahaha)

there are just so many. poor guy....poor consumers. i mean, problems with a car will happen, but for them to treat the customers like that and also not be able to fix issues are the worst problems. IMO

That guy really had a lemon on his hands.

I'm surprised at all the other people that have had major problems with their TT's.

I would hate to see a mys2000sucks.com sucks page.

It is actually an effective way to fight back. I own mymustangsucks.com,sheehyfordsucks.com and sheehysucks.com since my Mustang is considered not fixable by my dealer and Ford has been no help. As of this morning the Attorney General's Office of Md has gotten involved on my behalf and is trying to get my car repurchased without my having to hire an attorney and sue under the lemon law, so as a goodwill gesture I have temporarily taken the sites down and discontinued the use of my service@sheehyfordsucks.com email address. If it is not resolved favorably soon I will be putting ads in the paper for my websites as well hiring a guy to walk around in front of the dealership with one of those sandwich boards advertising my site.

WOW, what a page. Great sarcasm, but you get the feeling it's all true. I was seriously considering a TT because of it's "fine German" craftsmanship.

That website (and a thorough search of other sites) was largely responsible for my NOT buying a TT! I really love the look of that car, especially the interior and I wanted to buy German. When I found out about all the major problems of that car, and that its NOT made in Germany like the other Audis, I was turned off by it.

The much higher pricetag was the final straw that steered me towards the S2000 and I'm quite happy

The TT is made in Hungary, not Germany. Not sure if that has much to do with its defects, but its hard to say it will have the same Audi craftsmanship since its not made in the same plant as the other Audis
