fixed it! my bad. lol. im a tard sometimes!

i have keyless door handles and left my lights on and killed my battery. I was completly locked out of my car except for cutting the top or breaking a window. Luckly i have the MG seibon hood, and the vent is right above my +terminal and i was able to jump it. But i did break my plastic cover on the latch in hopes to pull the cable from the outside. lol

is the cable inside the car just not there? if not pull your panel off and see if its there. There is noo way they broke the steel braided cable. it has to be there man.

ok dude i dont mean to be rude but
That's OK, you're close now and with a little practice...

Anyway, I just spent a few minutes in the garage and scoped this out. The may or may not help, but the cable appears to pass from the engine compartment to the behind-the-bumper-cover area right behind the left headlight and if you remove or at least loosen the left inner skirt, you should see it and be able to get a grip on it.

Maybe some who has wrenched on S2000's more than I can confirm?

...and thanks on the education on Civic nomenclature.

...and the above is useless if the break is between there and the latch, or if it's actually the latch and not the cable (how would you know?) Anyway, good luck, gotta go wash my hands now.

the cable is wraped in a "hose" so unless you cut the cable and hose. strip the hose away like for wiring and then get some pliers on the steel cable then you can pop it.

Well, did you get it open? Or should we show up with an air chisel?
