Default Popping out of First Gear

Anyone have this happen to them? If so what did you do?

So I am at a stoplight in first gear ready to go when the light turns green. (not racing or anything, normal daily driving start) Light turns, and then I start to accelerate when I hear this loud "POP" noise and the car doesn't move. Next thing I know, the shifter has come out of first and is in neutral. I then ut the car back into first and everything seems ok and take off as normal. This has happened to me three times already and the car is about a year old, MY 04. Tranny problem? I am thinking about taking it back to the dealer to have them look at it, but I am not sure they are going to say much unless I can reproduce what's happening. Any insight into this? Thanks.

Guy make sure you put it in correctly the first time. It can be tricky if you don't pay attention to it. Make sure it goes in all the wayyyyy

I know there are a bunch of threads on this issue, but has anyone considered whether or not this problem is related to the 04+ slave cylinder and new delay valve?

it seems to only effect 04+ models correct?

Everyone has considered everything under the sun. Honda is aware of the problem.

Thanks for all the responses....sorry about not searching correctly, I finally found the 7 pages of post that people have made regarding this issue and I am going to read that. Seems like a common problem and hopefully Honda resolves this issue somehow???
