hmmm...lets see if I want a performance car for the price of a boxster S...I think I would just get a 03/04 Corvette Z06 as they will be cheaper and faster in every category. That would have been my purchase if I were looking in that price range.

Now as for S2K versus Boxster S I look at it this way (business guys perspective)

1. Boxster S = $53000

2. S2K = 30,000
+ 4,500 S/C
+ 2500 Brakes
+ 2500 Suspension
+ 1300 (approx) for EMS
Grand total = 40,800 and a monster of a roadster.

I could use the other 12,200 for a haircut or something like that

Return on investment (performance wise) is definitely with the S2K
we think just alike lol, i was reading this and was thinking the same thing and then i srold down and saw this lol, i think you should take the 23,000 differents and put it in your s2k, or hell just put half of it in your s2k like this guy said. Then when you get a chance to race a boxster s (i agree i think its ugly) you'll eat him alive and then look back and say wow i just beat a car that cost 13,000 then mine. sounds good to me!

now if it was a 911 twin it would have been different

These questions make me laugh......

We all could trade if we wanted to. Most of us could have purchased the Porsche new if we wanted to also....

You have to decide what you want to do and I can't see where asking a bunch of e-buddies is going to make any difference.....
