Default is it possible 10'sec s2000

i would like to know if it is possible to have a 10 sec s2000 but with a comptech supercharger. plust the intercooler that will be coming out from comptech this summer and with other mods. if so what other mods should be done, excluding intake, exhaust, and headers. and another thing, i was reading that a supercharged s2000 went from 0 - 60 in 5.1 seconds. in my opinion that is slow for being supercharged. dont get me wrong i'm gonna get my an s2000 in 2 weeks but i just want to make the 0 - 60 in mid or low 4's. thanx ya'll

for all those supporting the nissan z, i do to but i would still perfer the s2000. there's nothing better than beaten v6 - v8's with a powerful inline 4.

A stock s2k can go 0-60 in 5.2-5.4 if launched right.

For the right amount of money, anything can be accomplished, Jason B

I think you'd need a bigger headunit on the blower

Don't listen to anyone here go: "Bleh bleh bleh buy a different car bleh bleh bleh..."

I think the easiest route would be:

1. Mike Simon motor
2. Bigger head unit
3. Big big boost
4. Tune

I am finishing my car right now and I have spent $ 29,000. I still dont think I will have a 10 sec car.....big issues are the diferential, and transmission. You are going to have to go with a turbo......alex

It takes a whole lot of $$$$ and brains to get from a high 13's to 10s. The OEM drivetrain would never hold up. You'd have to strip out everything and then do what Jason00S2000 said. At least get the car down to 2000lbs at about 800hp.

I would think that the only way to do it without spending a ton of money and majorly beefing up the drive train would be to drive it off of a tall cliff. Driving and off the cliff and doing a 10 second quarter shouldn't harm the car or drive train but the landing sure wouldn't be pretty.

It could be done but it wouldn't be easy. The S2000 isn't the best choice for a 10 second car.
