Default Possible to change plastic on top?

hey guys, im new to this forum and im planning on buying an s2000 within a couple months. i had a question though:

is it possible to change the plastic on the top of the 00 and 01 s2000s with glass?

A few people have done it. It'll cost you though...I think labor alone is over $1000

I think I remember reading something like $1200. But don't hold me to it. Maybe you could do the swap yourself? I'm not sure what's involved.

Check out this section in the Library . There are instructions on how to do it.

I've seen posts in the past here where it cost as little as $850 for the conversion, but $1000 or so is a typical price. You could probably use that as a bargaining chip if you buy used from a dealer. Good luck!
