Default Possible to changing oil = smoother shifting?

it seems as though every time after i change my oil my shifter feels smoother. my notchy 2nd is gone and 3rd is semi-gone. i didnt change anything else. now i know that changing oil would make the engine run smoother, but not necesarily my notchiness smoother correct?

any explanations or am i just thinking things.

I don't know about shifting feel, but my engine seems less "gritty" with fresh oil, and I can "feel" that.

Well it depends. If you meant you changed your tranny oil then I'd say you could be right . If you used the right replacement fluid anyway...
