Don't forget also that "new" is a relative term...

a car can be new as long as it is NOT titled...

Before I bought my 99 Vette, I looked (summer of 98) around a bit. I found a dealer that was VERY insistent on selling me his 12,000 mile demo, which was a NEW car because it wasn't titled...

btw, my car is for sale
19,000 miles, 28000... Only a little more than a dealer has offered to buy it for... That dealer, btw has a 2000 silver with 9000 miles and listing it for 34000. This is the same dealer that I've ranted about in the past, who has told a few guys "If you don't pay 10k over, the next guy will"...

I'm gonna miss her, but I sure hate for this dealer to get the car... After being so mad at them, its almost a sin for them to get the satisfaction of getting my car and marking up back up.

I'm not selling directly to them, mind you. I am getting a WRX (no flames please, if you want to know why then email me). The Subaru dealer called the Honda dealer to ask what an S2000 like mine would fetch. Thats how the trade-in value is determined...
