Post-hurricane issues
I'd like to preface this with the fact that this is my first posting on S2KI ever. I noticed that you guys have a tendency to rip newbies like myself when we break the rules. Well, I don't really know the rules so here we go.
I was wondering if anyone has heard about the cars being sold that were damaged by hurricanes in the gulf coast last year. Apparently, it's a huge problem in Florida (where I live).
I've been shopping for my first S2000 for a couple months but this news about the used car market sucks.
Basically, I'd like to know if anyone has any information on how to avoid buying one of these cars, or identifying one on a used car lot.
Thanks.

I have used S2000s all over the country that were water damaged by the hurricanes this summer. This really sucks and I feel pity on any fool that buys one.
Your best option for the used market is to get a certified car from Honda. Good luck!
