Post if you have the paint peeling problem
Had it - got it fixed once. Now I have some peeling on the other side. I figure at this point that the car will probably need a repaint at the end of about three years anyway, so I will just live with it for now unless it gets much worse.
One of my few complaints with this car has been the low quality (and thin) paint job.

In this case, I believe the problem is not related to poor paint, but to poor fit and assembly arrangement. Paint could be poor, but better paint would likely do this too.
The problem has to do with the bumper working and sliding slightly, against other body panels. Over time, it eventually gets worked off of that point where the screw joins the bumper to the body... and in some other cases, where the headlight units rub against the bumper.
Moral of the story is to not let them simply paint the bumper without curing the underying assembly problem.
I believe there is a new bumper attachment system on newer cars... that needs to be added to older cars when they get repainted.

Had it since the car was new (Feb. '00). If it makes you feel any better it has not gotten worse. I told the dealer about it, and told them i'd want it fixed if it spread, but for what it is now, I would not want my car disassembled and repainted with non factory paint quality/match/process.

I have the problem on both sides. I went to my Acura dealer and showed it to him. He said he'd go argue with the Honda people for me. He convinced them to get a Rep. to look at it. The Rep. approved the repair, but the condition was I had to take it to the GM dealer down the street owned by the same company. I took one look at the facilities and crew, said "no way in hell am I letting these guys near my car", and went home.
I have the problem too, but mine is peeling off the bumper just next to the hood. The dealer inspected it a couple of weeks ago and said that they'd repair it. I'll attend to it when I return from my travels.
I've got it too on the drivers side. If you look down around the head light assembly you may have it there also. I spoke with the Service Manager and he suggested I spend a day with the paint shop foreman and "touch it up." I am trying to ignore it for now but am dissapointed.
