Sean: 1) Can you actually damage leather from too frequent Lexol conditioner applications?
2) For only "minor" cleaning jobs (top down driving or semi-dusty roads): is it ok to just use a damp cloth and wipe the seats clean or must you use a leather cleaning product (I use Lexol, but I've never used the cleaner, as my car rarely gets that dirty, and seems like a hassle to use the cleaner, then the conditioner.)
Thanks in advance, we are all learning a lot about leather care and appreciate your efforts here.

You can damage the leatehr using an improper conditioner too often, but not really in using the right kind. I would not recommend conditioning more than once a month, unles they are really dirty, it is just unnecessary.
As for using water, it is ok to use, but I would recommend using the cleaner too when you do regualr cleanings. It has the proper pH for leather...4.5 compared to that of water...7, its not a huge deal, if you are looking for ease of use, check out the wipes we sell on our site, they are premoisted with our cleaner, one will easily do both seats.
If it just after a dusty road, a slightly damp cloth will work, do not put much water in the cloth at all, just what you need to get the dirt to stick to the cloth.
It is a hassle to do both, but it works best...

I have two spots (about the size of a quarter) that are slightly sticky (think "gummy"). What's the best thing to use to get it off? Will an adhesive remover (like Goo Gone) be bad to use?
Thanks.

Thanks.

I have a discoloration on my seat. Local car wash said it's probably from the sun. Looks blue (I have black seats). I'll try my Meguiar's stuff, but it looks worse than that. It is on the backrest of the driver's seat. Any advice? I know I'm being vague here, but I can't explain shat I don't know.
