I try to avoid every pot hole that I can. However, every so often you come across a series of them and there is no way around it...

That's not potholes -- that's counter-battery fire!

Saturday I was on a key road leading out of the nation's capital, the Washington-Baltimore Parkway, a 1940's road repeatedly repaved, but continues to deteriorate. Countless potholes. Considering the number of diplomats and international tourists we get, it's a little embarrassing.

100% agree. they got potholes everywhere now....i've seen how they patch them too and no wonder the patching lasts 6-12 month. all they do is drop some asphalt in it and hit it with a shovel few times.

Cold patching is how they have to patch at this time of the year. We are still in a freeze thaw pattern which really does the roads in.
