Default Powder Coating o.e. Wheels's

Ready to do it. Are their any issues I should know about as far as beads not sealing or lug nuts not fitting due to the extra layer of powder coat. I have the stock AP2 wheels. Thanks for your input

just make sure they they dont go crazy on the clearcoat around the lug area otherwise you will have some issues - and obviously tell them not to PC the hub area

Cool. Were your wheels powder coated? They look awesome. I've seen other pictures of your car before. Also, where did you get the gunmetal lug nuts?

yes my wheels are powdercoated. I had the lugnuts done also so they matched - then had the centercaps painted by the bodyshop to match too perfectionist...yes

if you get your lugs done...tell them to just do a light coat of powder, otherwise youll have trouble with the sockets to tighten them.

When I PC my stock wheels black in the spring, I plan to just use black lugs. I imagine PC lugs might chip with a lot of use?

Beware though.. you'll have a dead sexy S afterwards

I have an extra set of OEM wheels that I was thinking of powder coating the inside of the spokes (the silver areas) like another owner has already done.

Just waiting to come across a good shop in Atlanta.

If anyone has any tips please post.

no chipping at all - but that depends on the quality of workmanship and how they prep the wheels initially
