powdercoating stock rims
first...does anyone have a set of powdercoated stock rims (BLACK or Gunmetal) that they are willing to sell or trade?
if not...does anyone know where i can get mine powdercoated for a decent price? ($40-50 per wheel) preferably around Virginia and boarding states. thanks

The price sounds about right for powder coating. I did a quick search on Google and found this place...

Our shop requires that you bring in just the rim, so you will have to pay someone else to dismount and mount your tires, which may cost an additional $10-$20 a tire.

The shop here in houston charges $50 for the powdercoat and $25 for the clearcoat per wheel. I highly recommend the clearcoat because it maintains the finish for a longer period. I didn't clearcoat my first set and they dulled within a year. My second set looks great after 2 years w/ a clearcoat.
Don't be cheap on this or you'll have to redo them sooner than you think.

We also perform the work but as you said you wanted local.
