Default Power Outlet Fixing

My power adapter between the 2 seats recently came loose (second time this has happened ) and I would like to try to fix it myself this time. I assume I need to pull out that armrest section and then I can take the "Glovebox and secret compartment" part off (I've seena few screws in here)? If anyone can point me in the direction of what to do, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Also, is there anything I am doing wrong to make the power outlet keep coming loose?

Refer to this thread for pics - https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...pic=266869&hl=

EDIT: I ran another search and found out that I need to remove all the door sill panels. Anyone know of something I can do to prevent it from happening in the future while I'm in there.

I followed the remedy posted above and it worked like a charm. However...if you've got small enough hands, you cna remove the metal ring from the wire and pull it out. I did this and applied Loctite to the threads before re-installing it. Thanks for the help guys.

Landfighter - You should try hardwiring the radar detector. It's realatively simple and gives it a much cleaner look as well as eliminating the need to string a cord accross the interior. If you search for "hardwire passport 8500" you should come up with the DIY.
