Prelude to an S-2000
I have just taken delivery of my 2001 silver/red on Saturday (11/17). I also have a 97' Prelude that I will keep for the commute to work. The S2K is incredible and I would like to thank everyone for all of the very informative posts over the past 4 months (long wait)! I wish I would have read a post about where the "gas lid" release was... Before I handed over the check, the dealer and I took it for a test drive to the Gas station to fill it up. After looking for the release for about 2-3 minutes the gas station clerk saw we were having trouble and pointed out that the lever was "tucked" away in the drivers door threshold (go figure). I would like to especially thank whomever suggested the dealer wait to fill up the gas tank because if I was not there he was going to put regular unleaded into it! The only qualms I have are that the rear window had a slight "S" crease in it from when it was lowered for the first time (by the dealer). Also, since I drove the car back from Virginia Saturday night (right before NC's snow storm hit ... thank God) , I noticed several "swirl" marks in the rear window from other car's headlights behind me... I haven't had time to determine if these are scratches from when the dealer first cleaned it or what. Did anyone else see such "swirl" marks on the rear window after they took delivery? Were you able to "buff" them out?
Congratulations on your new ride!
The S-shaped crease will come out by itself if you leave the car parked in the sun. If it's dark and dreary up in Charlotte, judicious use of a hair dryer may speed up the process. Just don't get the window too hot. As for the swirl marks in the window ... one word - Plexus.

I'm glad you had a good experience with Woodson... I lived in Roanoke for 20 years, and I can't say that I ever had a good experience with them!
As for the swirls in your window, I swear by the 3M Marine Plastic Polish. I lent it to my brother some time ago, whose window was completely opaque with scratches, and it cleared it up to near perfection.
Enjoy, and hurry through those 600 miles!
