"It will have to. The new S2000R is a class-defying monster. It costs 54 grand, and has interior amenities considered spartan for even the base model's $33,000 price. On the other hand, it has performance characteristics comparable to Italian imports costing three times as much. Not only does the new R have 360 horses, but Honda corralled them into a package weighing less than a Miata. Think about that for a second. The Miata has 142 HP, and it's a lot of fun to drive. This thing has 2.5 times as many whinnies. Whoa, Nellie!"

If it's going to have 120hp more and an extra $11K. Don't you think they'll name it something else instead of S2000R? Because I think the main reason for an R is to add mild power/cosmetic/weight saving upgrades to the current base model. Therefore, I don't see why they would still make it an S2000?

Someone needs a girlfriend with all that time to waste. Unless of course if it was a class project and in that case, I give him an "A"

Well, you guys all know that there's a Type V in Japan, right?
Not sure what the differences are, but if it's in Japan, you may see it here.

The type V in Japan has a steering assist function that softens the steering of the car in higher speeds.

This is great, I don't even have to look at the website to see that the info is a joke! I love the picture of the Honda Family!

The picture is a mirrored image of the JDM model. Notice that the antenna is on the driver's side, and the badge on the "right" fender reads backwards (0002 S).
