I remember that one, it was in the showroom for a while...it was really marked up if i remember. I got a spa yellow from them, but mine was still in the shrinkwrap from its transport. Mine was basically the base model. I actually graduated from Lehigh in 2001 and i bought it for myself as a graduation gift in june of that year.
i wish i could've bought an s when i graduated but i couldn't lift a penny with the debt i incurred at the time. the s is a good present for all the hardwork (i hope) you put into your education. that showroom 01 had all the accessories installed. the funny thing is that when i went to place my order for an 02, they didn't attempt to persuade or pressure me into buying it. i hate saying this without getting some lucrative endorsement deal but i'm glad someone can agree with me that lv honda service has been more than satisfactory. oh yeah, love the bagles but they gotta get donuts.

Ganstahype-

If you want to join Matt and a few other Central PA folks, post a line or two at the Chime-In thread on the Delaware Valley club forum. I'll add you to our member lists... you get the badge under your sig and about 50+ fellow S2000 friends for free We have members from Hbg (2), Mechanicsburg (2) and even out to Chambersburg.

Michaelr-

Good luck with the search. My MY00 came from FAulkner in Hbg (B title with 100 miles)... not sure whether they deal. This is def the time of the yr to go shopping for a ragtop. If you plan to keep the car a long time, go for an '02 at a good price; but if you might churn in a year or two, much better to pay a bit more and get an '03! Glad to see someone from Hershey... you, of course, should get one in (custom) Chocolate Brown My family hails from Lebanon and I grew up in Harrisburg area.

Have to agree with you guys about LV Honda and service. I bought my 2001 Silverstone/Black ion June of 2001 and have had great service. They had the loaded Spa Yellow in when I bought mine. Mine was also loaded and it bugged me because thay held at MSRP but basically tried to rape me on the options. I finally got them to give up on some of the options, but had a hard time getting them to do anything on the Titanium Gearshift knob. That was the final deal breaker. I told them that there was no way in hell that I was going to pay $270 for the gearshift knob. I was going to walk until they split it with me, which was still too much, but I was too much in love with the car at that point.

Hey guys - I have emailed LV honda back and forth a few times, and I got their" best deal on that car" - $500 - $1000 under MSRP. But, from the sounds of it, you expected that. The service isn't a selling point for me, since I'll be in Hershey or Harrisburg. I do have a good relationship with Faulkner, but my friend the salesman (Matt Smith) recently got promoted to head of used cars, so I don't think he can hook me up. But, if Faulkner would get me a 2003 for near invoice, I'd go for it. I thought since the LV honda was an 02, they'd be at rock bottom. Faulkner rarely has an s2000 in the showroom, they move so quick. Maybe I'll email them. Did any of you get good deals at Faulkner? Thanks

I recommend being patient. Inventory starts to build up during the winter.

Last year, the best deals seemed to surface during early Jan. - late Feb.

I think that you can do much better in a month. People here in CA (home of the highest markups in the nation!) are getting the prices that you are seeing and it's still tee shirt and shorts weather!

Hey, Michaelr are you interested in a black used 01? There was one in Hummelstown at the Dodge dealer downtown. I saw it there in December. I live in Allentown and work in Hershey ( for Hershey) own a used red 00 that I bought in Oct. Had all my work done at LV honda for free! Replaced a headlight ( bad seal ) and all the recalls. So far they have been great.
