Also, maybe my cooling plate is letting more cool air in? Doubt it...but maybe.

I also have the AUT plate.

I also pushed the piping in tighter so that the end cap is actually able to suck whats coming out of the cooling plate's opening.
Great idea! I am going to do that as well!

the main problem with the PRM is where its sitting, take a look, its right behind the radiator hot air is constantly blowing over the filter itself. Also the Volcity stack is suckin in all that hot air.

While the AUT plate may be helping, I don't believe its enough.

Still...I am not having the problems you mentioned above.

I am up for seeing pics of your solution though. If it does anything and looks cool while doing it I'm in.

I have not experienced any hesitation or noticeable performance loss at all.

Dynos are not a good place to test heat soak anyways. How can you test speed related air flow when your car is stationary and sitting in a garage?

Thanks! I loved the sound that thing made. Before purchasing it, I was planning to get an exhaust as well....but really didn't need it after installing the PRM. The way I looked at it - the intake was for my ears, the exhaust was for those outside the car. Who cares about them?

Appreciate the help

It's always nice to know people on S2ki will come to the rescue.
I have a Supersprint exhaust on my car. Its like the two were meant to go together. The supersprint makes a wonderful sound off the line until v-tec kicks in then you mainly hear the intake because the exhaust gets quieter when the revs are up.

Just something to think about.
