Default Problem with brake lights!

I just realized my brake lights don't work. And not sure how long...but anyway.

I searched before posting and i found this thread....

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...&hl=brake+light

Ok, I believe it's either 1) Brake Switch 2) Blown No. 47 fuse under the hood (i'm not sure which one it is)

All three brake lights don't work, Cruise Control doesn't work. Haven't checked ABS yet.

My horn works, and I've check the all the small fuses under the hood and none are blown. (according the the service manual. No. 47 fuse is a 10a fuse i think) I've check the brake light bulbs and the filiments are still good.

Soo i'm guessing the Brake Switch is my problem with I think i got it narrowed down. How much is a brake switch and how do you install/replace it.

Is it hard?

Pop the trunk and check the brake light connection plug.

You can test the switch using a multimeter in the continuity setting or ohms. If it is at fault here is the part you need and where to get it.

Ok i'll try that out....

On a Side note....Above what speeds does Cruise control work? I tried cruise control again last night and it worked at 70 mph. But wouldn't worked under 70 mph. I SWORE, it worked at a lower speed.

With that in mind, would the brake switch be a culprit?

Cruise should work above 24 mph.

Does your horn work? Nevermind...I read the entire first post.
