There is no need to call him..everything is solved and managed to get in contact with him
Everything is not resolved until you get the items you paid for.

Because you should never assume.
If you have $1500 one the line, you have the right to assume a whole lot of $hit.

I too hope it is over. I get tired of hearing how people are ripped off on the net because they are trusting.

The next step of improvement would be to get the tracking number and verify it.

Actually, even if Trip receives his merchandise in a quick manner now, he still is out money... and time. How, you ask? Simple. Look at all the time spent trying to make contact after a reasonable time. Look at the $$$ spent on a rental.

I'm all about "two sides to every story," but I find this unacceptable.

Let it rest and let Trip and Trent sort it out. If Trip needs further assistance he has several avenues available to him...

Brant, I have to respectfully disagree with you about letting this rest. I do understand that as a moderator, you do not want things on the board to get out of hand. But, as participants, we feel that if moderators and administrators here make an effort to quiet or calm issues such as this, then some people will get the impression that if they do screw someone, there is less chance of suffering the consequences of their actions. If this becomes a trend, then the higher levels of mistrust among s2ki participants will prohibit us from dealing with each other in the future. This would definitely hinder the opportunity for us to buy and sell used parts.

I say that when things like this happen, the community needs to be MORE critical and vocal about situations like this. Then, there will be a much higher level of effort among all the members when dealing with each other for fear of the consequences if they do not deliver as promised. JMHO.

Why is it harsh?

Unless the guy is dead as mentioned above, he is behaving like a complete loser. Not even an email or phone call to explain the delay?
Hes a good kid. And like Ro Ja Boy said, hes a little more well off than most. Hes not a dumb kid spending $1500 on a "cool" new mod for his car. Hes been very busy and Im 100% positive this will be resolved very soon.
