Trip,

I never answered your PM because he is a friend of mine and I would never rellease info on him unless I have his permission. He hasnt been on the site in quite a long time, and I know hes been very busy. Sorry if you feel u got gipped, but Im sure its not with malicious intent.
i still don't care, .... as a business person, if some one gives you the money, you give them the goods,

this guy has promised to send the goods several times and failed. this is in my books very very very bad business.

now i think it has got to the stage where, if the customer does not receive the goods within the next 4 days, i also think he should get a full refund and the goods he asked for.

Brant, I have to respectfully disagree with you about letting this rest. I do understand that as a moderator, you do not want things on the board to get out of hand. But, as participants, we feel that if moderators and administrators here make an effort to quiet or calm issues such as this, then some people will get the impression that if they do screw someone, there is less chance of suffering the consequences of their actions. If this becomes a trend, then the higher levels of mistrust among s2ki participants will prohibit us from dealing with each other in the future. This would definitely hinder the opportunity for us to buy and sell used parts.

I say that when things like this happen, the community needs to be MORE critical and vocal about situations like this. Then, there will be a much higher level of effort among all the members when dealing with each other for fear of the consequences if they do not deliver as promised. JMHO.
Respectfully disagree to your hearts content. I'm not speaking as a moderator and I'm not overly concerned with what happens in S2000 Talk since I seldom ever wander in here.

I'm speaking as a somewhat objective opinion on the subject since there are only two people involved in this transaction and the one that expressed a problem seems satisfied with the intermediate steps being taken (assuming he gets the shipping information he wants).

Last time I checked, you and I and the vast majority of the people posting in this thread aren't involved in the transaction. My only involvement is that Trip posted a thread in the forum that I DO moderate and I had the information he was asking.

Now that the information has been provided to Trip there is no further issue with this transaction until he says there is.

I agree with Brant. The issue is out in the open and I have spoken to Trent about this myself and I have the inside track on this one so I'm going to lock this as it has served its time.
