This is the "octopus" that I tapped into. I J-hooked the ground wire for the radar detector install under the nut and tightened good and tight.

If your J hook is oxidized there might be a bad connection for all of the devices on top of the J hook.

I'd remove the hard wired detector and see if the problem goes away. If it does....Viola!

Your car is GPW yet I'm seeing red in the picture here so I assume this is not your car rather some pic you found which shows the area of concern. My advice, don't touch anything for now, if the car acts all "Linda Blair" on you again then go ahead and remove your J-hook. Find some other location to ground and this time pick a spot where you won't interfere with other ground connections. Done and done.

Yeah the pic is one I found when I was perusing the electronics forum. My digital camera is not wanting to download its pictures to my photo editing program, so I will mess around with that later. Since I had the original problem a couple of weeks ago I guess it was, and the most recent problem yesterday, it is so intermittent, that for now I guess I will wait and see if anything happens again. I will redo that ground if something arises in the future and see if that eliminates the problem. Thanks for your input everyone

Need Help!! I have an 04s when Im driving normal Its fine.....It's when Im shifting @ high rpms it seems like its not grabbing the road.(DRAGS)

Start in 1st.....8000rpm's......hit 2nd and I dont feel that kick, it should just kick me back into the seat right? I know the tires on the 04 are not the greatest but WTF going on? Is it the tires that are slipping or the clutch?

"FYI"
My friend has the same car with out the drag going into grears problem.
My 04 only has 3200mil on it. I really need some feedback.

Ummmm....clutch could be slipping some depends upon how you shift...but in all honesty there is no "kick" when you shift from 1-2....maybe your other friend is a slow/crappy shifter. Should just be a long continuous goooooo.....

BTW the MY04 tires are some of the best OEM tires you can get....people who've tracked both the RE050 and the S02 rate the RE050 as the sticker tire....
