The stupid car sales man at honda told me that my 2003 would be in this Wednesday, that was before I put down $2,000. Now i called about picking it up and he said that he made a mistake, the build date is scheduled for this Wednesday. Ill get it Oct. 15th, oh well, its going to be a long month.

Sorry to inform you of more bad news, but if the build date is tomorrow, you are looking at late October to early November for delivery.

My car had a build date of May 31st and I took delivery July 20th.

Congratulations, I'm pretty sure it will still be worth it. I was wondering, how much are they selling it for. Is it above the 03' MSRP (whatever that is)?

 

A salesman will promise you anything to get you to sign on the dotted line. Congrats on your car but remember that patience is a virtue.

 

MY 02 was built in Sept and I took delivery on Oct 16th.

I recently put my down payment on a 2003 S2K also. He put in the order on August 12. I was told it should arrive anytime between the end of October and the first week of November.

If what you say is true, about getting the car in the middle of October; I should be getting it even sooner than you I hope. I'm a little more excited now.

My build date was scheduled for 3/10/02 and then became 3/12/02.
I took delivery 4/16/02. That is about 6 weeks after build, but I'm in the Northeast, sort of a long ways from the West Coast where delivery is.

Lots of us have waited a long time, hell, I waited about 5 years to even order mine, you will get through it, and you will be so happy on delivery day!!! Congrats!

Now the thing to do is bug your sales person like every week, tell him you want the VIN Number. He will learn to love you. Of course I never did anything like this when I went through the process earlier this year.
