Sticking feeling when taking it out of 1st gear in the first 10 minutes in any weather conditions.

I had a loss of power at VTEC engagement, accompanied by a lag and stutter, but it was an intermittent problrm, I had the dealership replace the MAP sensor and this helped somewhat, but the problem returned and got worse, Had it in to the dealer FOUR TIMES, the last one for 5 working days.. turned out to be the boost fuel pump Which was starving the engine for gas at the increased demand above 6000 RPM, Thay had to call Japan to fix this problem.. I was told it was an exteremely uncommon failure, but if anyone else has this problem, you may want to mention it to your service personnel, Mike

Does anyone have an answer to this TSB report? Is it normal? I hear a pop noise when I engage into 1st gear. I would say it happens half of the time. It only happens when I shift at a complete stop ie at a red light.

Component Description:
46. POWER TRAIN:MANUAL TRANSMISSION Bulletin Number: 011101
Bulletin Date: NOV 2001

Vehicle: 2002 Honda S2000
Summary:
SUBJECT REGARDING A CREAK OR POP NOISE AT CLUTCH ENGAGEMENT. *SLC

I had a leaky clutch master cylinder, replaced under warranty @ 20k miles on my 2002, car was about 1 1/2 years old at the time.

I don't really like bringing up 6 year old topics, but I just wanted to say thanks for this write up. I have the 3rd gear "notch" when shifting and this has explained that its a common thing that I should not worry about. So Thanks!
