The price was never raised from $1888 w/ everything to $2200 w/o anything base on my dealer license. They made a mistake by stating the top came with ALL OEM HARDWARE and PLEXI GLASS and rather than say sorry, they jacked the price up and tried denying what our agreement was.
That just stinks man. I was a business manager for over 12 years. I've made mistakes maybe 2 times in all those years about pricing and made it up to my customers after apologizing. We are all human but when you're dealing with a high dollar item including expenses to get there..... you did all you could do, screw those guys. Those morons don't know business and will reap what they sew. Thanks for your post.
Hi. I was the one who first said they have CF Hardtop for $1950 including the plexi glass and the installation hardware at Street Concept. I found them from eBay when I was looking for Body Kits for the S. I looked at the prices and everything was cheap. I called them and asked about the fitment and they said they guarantee perfect fitment. They also said they have just one CF Hardtop left. I was going to get it myself but then I changed my mind and got some other stuff from them. I ordered the Garage D Complete Body Kit, the CF Lip and CF Mirrors. They said they will ship in 2-3 days and I called them after one week. The lady said they still didn't ship them yet. I just came back to my country because of the hurricane so I don't know if I received them or not. I hope nothing will go wrong with the parts because what they did to C4SxM5 is weird. I will let everyone know how my experience will be with them.

This is just sloppy business.
I expect that streetconcepts is a good group of people with lazy business practice.
They have a professional responsibility to know about the products they are selling. This was a lesson for them and hopefully they will learn from it.

LiQiCE - In order to determine if fraud is present, you really need to be able to prove a malicious intent to deceive. I do not think that "fraud" is present, but "gross negligence" is definitely present. If would be considered "ordinary negligence" if it was a 1 times mistake (1-time misquote), but in this case, C4 was apparently quoted this price 2-3 times, and it was verified by a manager. This crosses the line between "ordinary" and "gross" negligence. You might also be able to make a case for fraud through the multiple price verifications, then the price change at the last second. That would be a harder case to make, though.
If anything, if you still have the print out on the website of the original advertised price, and proof that your order (phone records, etc.) was BEFORE they changed the website to the new price, you might also have something under false advertising, or intentional misrepresentation. (Assuming there is no disclaimer on their site regarding price changes).
You will not be able to get anything for free. You should be able to get the HT (w/everything described in voicemail) for the original quoted price (but only in the quantity originally ordered). You should also be able to get original travel expenses reimbursed.
I would follow up on this with a local attorney (local to the business). Like I said before, should be open and close case.

I have been speaking with Heru over at StreetConcept today and it seems like they will take care of the issue to my satisfaction.
I can't go into too much detail with what the agreement was, but I am satisfied with this dealing and will post pictures shortly
