Default Project Logic-2000 In-Car Computer Install Complete

After completing Version 3 of the Stereo setup (Click Here For Stereo Install Pics) I needed a headunit and I definitly wanted DVD and MP3 capability. But I wanted access to the videos on my computer as well. In the end I decided to not go with a conventional headunit and instead to go with an In-Car PC solution from Next Technologies. I installed the Next Technologies S25 Multimedia Network Package. The S25 PC includes an AMD XP Barton 2500+ processor, 512MB of DDR, 200GB hard drive, 16x dvd player, 802.11b wireless card, and optical out port. The package also included a 7" touch screen monitor, multimedia programable remote, keyboard, mic, and gps mouse. All this technology is brough together using Next Technologies IMME interface. The interface understands voice commands, remote control commands, touch screen access, and use of the multimedia keyboard. Integrated into the interface is a media player, dvd player, gps software, voice recognition engine, internet access, email access, syncronization with your home network and so much more. I decided to do a temporary installation of the unit until I can afford to mount the monitor flush with the dash and until I can re-wrap the trunk panels that had to be done in haste to get done in time. Take a look at the temporary installation pics below and there are pics of my whole project on my website.

I am really digging the kick panal speaker's detail work, may I ask how much that cost you and how you got speaker's in there. (What to relocate and the like)

Really top notch job.
