My turn to chime in on this one

#6?? something in the 6's

I guess I will find out soon, 2000 #244 added many new cars to my collection but somehow I still have my S (never keep cars over 6 months most of the time)

This callsign should send shivers down your spine: S2000Chris.

Too many S2000s have hit the used car market. Board not as mature as it used to be. Cuss words and flames = bad.

I could have had a lower number, but spent more time back in the early days on one of the sites that didn't make it before discovering s2ki.

For some reason I prefer to spend more time on my Ducati M900 than my S2000 lately, so the car spends more time in the garage under a cover. For the first couple of years of S2000 ownership I divided my time more evenly between the two. I'm overdue for another week long trip in the S2000. If my wife weren't leaving for Italy next week, I would take the last week in May off and visit all of the California national parks. Maybe I'll do that anyway.

#277 and still kicking. it's hard to believe she's still my daily driver and will turn 4 in november. i remember back in the day when a group meet of 32 was considered a record and we pretty much had to beg the aftermarket for mods.

wow, had to dig this one back up. Not sure how many of the 3 digit members are still around but oh well.

I, too, miss reading stuff from the more mature owners that initially bought this $32k+ roadster as new with no idea on how this was all gonna pan out. As i sit now with my 00 S2K #1435 on the market to add to the newbie population of the S2000 community, I look back fondly to all the S2000 community members I met or communicated with or just read the posts of along the way.

I will never forget Barry's story of a snowy driveway in Wyoming...his own. :S

Nor will I forgetthe video posting of DarkCrow's accident, only to be pulled b/c it MAY show who was at fault for the single car accident ending up with his S2000 upsidedowm on a boulder, but both people walking away.

Nor will i remember the first death in the family when a Bay Area member lost control of his Supercharged S rolled and his passenger was not fortunate enough to survive.

Its been a wild seven years with this car. I hope some of the old membersare still around despite the politics that happened midway thru the adventure. Sure there were some assholes back then too, but hey, that's life.

Thanks to Mingster for his X brace (and first and second generation windscreens!), thats to Muz for shipping our a wide angle Aus rear view mirror to cover my drivers side blindspot, thanks to Smokin (Dennis) for his first generation grill... the list goes on...
