Default Public "Thank You" to Ray (RT) - Please Read

I just wanted to let everyone know how much help Ray(known as RT on the board) has given me over the past few days. As most of you know I just installed my VAFC yesterday. This is a pretty complex unit and very confusing to say the least. From the beginning I exchanged PM's with Ray about the harness, the VAFC and then my dyno. Every PM he sent me was very, very useful and friendly too. He probably wrote enough in all of these PM's to be able to compile them all together and make a book, "How to use the Apexi VAFC in a Honda S2000 even if you are a complete idiot!" He also provided me with his phone numbers where I was able to call him while I was sitting in my car with the VAFC. He walked me through a lot of the settings and really helped me get a feel for it. The guy's amazing. I kept throwing questions at him and he kept throwing the answers right back at me. Each time, very clear and helpful. I just got off the phone with him again(4am here!) and he prepped me for my dyno run tomorrow! Kinda felt like he was like my coach given me a prep talk before the big game tomorrow. Anyway, without Ray, I would be completely lost right now. The VAFC would still be sitting on my dresser where everyone could stare at it and say how pretty it is and how cool it "would" look in my car. But because of his help, it's installed in my car and ready to be tuned tomorrow, by me! Again, I want to thank you for everything you've done Ray. Fellow owners like you are what make this board so amazing. Your contribution to me, this board, and the S2000 community will not be forgotten.
Thank you,
-Brandon

When you care enough to post in S2000 Talk rather than send a PM. . .that's touching! j/k. . .

That's one of the great things about this board. . .the people!

The quality of this site is due to the quality of the people that inhabit it. I could take all of the credit but...well ok I'll take all the credit

Could you guys send me the info and I'll do a write up for the FAQs.

brandonb, can you write up some documentation on what you did so that others can use it as a reference?

Don't worry. I plan to write a complete follow up after the dyno today.

He's just as friendly in person too, I was fortunate enough to meet him at Woodburn dragstrip last year.

Brandon,

good post. I agree, Ray's a great guy, and very willing to go the extra mile to help others.

Ray's probably p!ssed now, though; everyone on this board's gonna be asking him for help!

Not to mention ruining the tough-bad-boy-porn-star image he's been so deperately working on.

Everyone lucky enough to be at the Laguna Seca event should buy Ray a drink.
