500 lbs. INCLUDING the trailer . . . tow it!

I will under no circumstances ever tell anyone what I towed with mine (cuz i'd get crucified here) but is was um . . .bigger. NO drivability issues before, during, or after. You just need to feel what the car and extra ballast are doing and drive accordingly (Clutch action, braking, turing, etc.)

My guess is the "no towing" statement from Honda is probably more of a CYA legal move. _Some_ ass would tow a horse trailer, ef up, and sue Honda

My $0.02

"Each American emits three times more greenhouse gases than a Frenchman,"

The U.S. Dispatched w/ 52x the number of German and Japaneese soldiers than the English and french put together. And this is in just the second world war.

When you and your weak country grow a backbone then you can put forth your opinion concerning our country.

The french??

CoralDoc--450 lbs. gross? What's in your toolbox? Or are you counting a passenger?

Mack, do you have any weight figures for yours? Also, I noticed in the pic you have ropes (?) securing your tires. What do you use?

I finally got my JDMs, but now I'm going to wait to install the new version of Smartires when it's released before I mount & use my Kumhos.

Calc-

I don't have a weight on mine.

As for the ropes. They are acually bungie(sp) cords. They tend to move around a bit when you hit bumps and stuff. The bungies just help stabilize them. You will also find that the tires sit a bit low in their cradle. I've raised mine a bit to keep them from rubbing on the security bar that passes through their center. I used a couple of pieces of conduit zip tied to the trailer. I can send you some pic's of the install for a better explanation.

CoralDoc-

I must have misunderstood his question. I though he ment loaded as you described.......if that was the case I have no clue. If we're talking about what it's capable of hauling your right. I'll check the documentation.

hey, monsieur Le car,
I would not quote these reports as "facts", they all have thier reasons and may be misleading, just think of this, is the air in Paris or London better than in NY or Vancouver, are the rivers and lakes in Europe less polluted than in North America? Some "scientists" have calculated the emissions and blamed the cows as a significant air polluters! Can you immagine what would have happend to the price of cheese if we all believe them?.... LOL

Lets go back to towing and S2k.

Mike
