Pulled the trigger...
Just ordered a 2004 Silverstone in Austin. Fair price at Classic Honda. Taking delivery in January. The test drive sold me. I haven't had that much fun since I had my E36 M3. This forum helped me make the decision on this car. Although there is a lot of banter on the 04 vs other years, I think everyone can agree that the S2000 is a lot of fun.
I considered replacing my Supercrew with a S60R, V70R, or S4, but in the end decided to keep the truck and add a fun car (love the roadster). The S2000 won out over the Boxster.
I did not put any accessories into the deal....is there a good place to get OEM? $700 for a CD changer is a bit steep from the dealer. Can the head unit be replaced and still use the radio controls on the dash?
Looking forward to sharing more meaningful experiences with you all in the future...

Sounds awesome! I'll look forward to seeing you around austin.
To answer your questions, there are many cheaper places to get OEM accessories. PM "hardtopguy" if you're interested in a particular piece. And yes, the head unit, etc. can be switched out.
