Pulling Doughnuts
Actually, if done right -- it's not hard on your car at all. The trick is not to do it from a standstill, but to do it while you're moving. I can do donuts all day and it doesn't even wear the tires that much. You have to do it while you're in the middle of the turn. The car has to have side load.
Find a huge, empty parking lot and start driving in a circle. Let's say about 20mph. The circle has to be tight enough where you can feel the g's. Make the circle as tight as you can while holding the same speed. The tires should be making a little bit of noise now. After your head is spinning around and you feel like you took a big hit of a crack pipe, give it some gas. Don't give it too much, or you'll just do a 180 and smoke the tires. Try to keep the rpm's at around 5,000. At that point, the rear end should feel like it's on marsmellows and you should still be able to drive in a circle. From that point, you can adjust the throttle by about 1000 rpm to make the rear end come around faster, making the circle smaller. As nausea starts to occur, you can simply turn the steering wheel the other way -- remember to keept the gas pedal in the same place -- and start making circles the other way.
Congrats!, you've just graduated to the school of figure 8's.......

Doughnuts in my S2000 in the wet/snow were fun but nothing compared to my GSX. You haven't lived until you've felt all four tires spinning and your just spinning in one spot. I got real dizzy real fast, but it was real fun!
