Actually if you look at the other thread I posted a link to, there are '02 and '03 owners too. And its not something you can just run out and check. For me it happens maybe once a week and I drive it 6-7 days per week so I wouldn't be able to replicate it in front of someone if I wanted to unless I got lucky.
So I tried the powdered graphite thing. I sprayed it down with the air hose first to blast out any loose debris and put some graphite in there. I guess we'll know in a week or so if this graphite fixes it.

oh jeez, not again.
my '93 Prelude has done that nearly forever.. if you twist the key backwards while sliding it out it never does it.. or tap on the ignition switch with your finger after the key is out.
I'd be pretty choked if my -new- car did this..
