Default Pulls to right when shifting

I've noticed that my 2002 will pull hard to the right when I shift gears. It sucks cause it makes it seem like I'm drunk almost everytime I shift gears because my car swerves to the right really quickly. At first I thought that I was just jerking the wheel to the right by trying to keep myself balanced or something, but today I was heading to work and I tried letting go of the wheel on a straight path and then shifting gears and sure enough, it jerks to the right each time. However, when I'm driving and accelerating, the car sometimes kind of starts to drift to the LEFT very slowly... Does anyone have this issue at all? This seems to have started happeneing fairly recently. I recently put air in all of my tires to top them off. They were a little low but I filled them all up to around 37 PSI each. However, the car started doing this before I put more air in the tires (they were kind of low. One only had 20 PSI). Now it just seems to have made the situation worse.

Your drifting to the left is most likely due to alignment. However, judging when the jerk to the right (when you engage or disengage the clutch) my best guess is a faulty LSD giving power to only one axle at initial torque

I'm not even close to ASE certified so please just take this as a theory.

Rear tire pressure, make sure they are both the same.

Yeah, I was figuring the drift to the left was alignment... the jerk to the right is bad though. I hope I can figure it out before I fall out of warranty!

Thanks for the help.

They're both at 37 PSI.

What year S2K do you own and what tires are you running? Perhaps they are mismatched, bald, or even a different size?

This car is very sensitive to differences in tires. You may be running a "Max Performance" on one side with a "High Performance" on the other, bald vs. one with max tread, etc.

You may want to have your alignment checked just to rule that out. But, from what you describe is happening, I would bet something is going on with the tires. Post some pics if you have that ability.

Ok, it was tire pressure. However, I filled it up yesterday! So, when I went to lunch I looked at my tires again and I was like "WTF?! I just filled those up!" and so while I couldn't see any screws or nails in the tires, I took it to a tire place and they lifted it up and hello! There was one screw in each of my back tires located at the inner portion of the tread (which is why it was hard for me to see). So they took them off, patched them properly and put them back on and tada! No more jerking.

On my way to lunch I noticed that the reason it would jerk to the left when changing gears is because when I was accelerating, the car would move to the left pretty hard, so I was subconciously compensating for the pull to the left, then when I would let off of the accelerator, the car was overly corrected due to this pull to the left which made it jerk to the right hard.
