Arrow Punctures

Does anyone else find that their tyres are like magnets for screws, nails and other debris that might be on the road? Does changing tyre pressure help or are the standard Bridgestones susceptible to punctures?
First time I have had a sports car with softer sports tyres on...so I may be asking a daft question.

I have picked up one nail on the S. I don't see why the tires on it would be any more susceptible to puncturing than any other type of tire tho.

If you have 255s on the rear, you could theoretically get 20% more punctures than 215 sized tires. And if your tread pattern is a summer pattern with more tread than space... maybe even more than that?

Who knows, just speculating.

Me too. I've had 4 or 5 punctures on my original S02s and I've already had one on my new A048s.

Sometimes city life sucks.

Stop driving through constructions sites!

The last episode of 5th Gear shown here on cable last night was about runflats and blowouts.
Check those tyre pressures regularly, if it gets low it causes the tyre to heat up quicker and may cause a blow-out. A blowout on a rear tyre will send you into a nasty spin.
