Buy the house, property values keep going up while car value will always head straight down. Cars are the worst investments you can find besides enron stock.

Buy the house... then in 12 months use the equity in your house to buy the S2000.

And books/tuition.

The best investment you can make under 25 yo is EDUCATION.

Your human capital will make you more money in the long run....

And if you need a fun car to help with the long hours studying... so be it.

Over a decade ago, I remember that midnight drives kept me sane during all-night study sessions.

The other thing you should calculate is INSURANCE. It can be very expensive depending on driving record and location. People pay between $75 -- $200 PER MONTH on insurance alone.

Guess house it is. Went to look at it yesterday and giving him the money this weekend. Starting next month my money is working for me, instead of me working for my money. lol

Anyways, I want more experience driving before owning a hard-core car such as the s2k.

- I know in southern cali prices are ridiculous, BUT supposed to be dropping within' the next year...
- shit, my house (parent's house) can probably sell for $520K and its not even a "new" community...

25K For a house, you cant get a bathroom for that price in the bay area, but i guess were willing to pay for the weather out here!
