Purchasing an S2000
"Buzzing From the Engine or Transmission While Decelerating"
is exactly what happened when driving the car...
Should I avoid this deal or keep at it? (Because I got a great deal on the car)
How much would it be to fix this?
Is it a BIG problem?
Is it a damaging problem?
Any other problems I should look for in an 2001 S2000?
Thanks for your help!

Are you sure I heard other wise and I believe the problem is called TSB 054 or something like that and is fixable?
I'm not sure if its required or not though.. or if is harmful to the car if its not.

ur almost defenitly referring to the infamous clutch buzz. i have a MY01 as well, and i have clutch buzz. doesnt bother the performance/reliability at all. if you dont mind the buzzing noise, get it. if it bothers you too much, still get it and just swap out the clutch (granted everything else in the car is good).
dont let clutch buzz be a deal killer.

Okay thats all I needed to hear. I mean as long as it isn't as destructive as it sounds I mean the sound is so LOUD.
My friend also heard a slight rattling at low RPM while ACCELERATING but he says it didn't sound bad. I am taking it to the mechanic today for a full inspection anything I should tell my mechanic to check for me in specific?
