Put the s2k away for the winter....already
I put the s2k to bed today (winterized it). I just bought a new BMW 5-series yesterday, plus they're calling for possible snow showers later this week, so I figured I might as well clean it up and put the cover on it for the winter. I know I could probably get almost another month out of it before we really got enough snow for it to be an issue, but I figured I wouldn't be driving it as much since I'll wanna drive the new ride for a while.

Syncmaster,
IMHO, most people around here get waaaaay too carried away about what "needs" to be done to winterize the s2k.
I wash and wax the car, change the oil, get a full tank of fuel, add some sta-bil, pull the battery and cover it. Oh yeah, I cracked the windows a bit too. I guess i did doa fair amount. Some will also tell you to lubricate all rubber surfaces, inflate the tires a few psi more, or put the car on jack stands.
Another thing, don't use the e-brake during storage. I guess it can wear it out...

Perfect weather in Ohio today. I tried to test drive an s2000 today but the only one they had at the used dealership got sold right before I got there and they were still finishing up the paperwork. The salesman was trying to convince us to get a Solstice and told us to test drive one. Since it was a great day and we were already there, we took him up on the offer. Not a bad car, but I'm not a big fan of the exterior or the engine
