Most folks say that running the engine for a few minutes is harder than not running it. There is a build-up of vapor that doesn't get a chance to evaporate as it does when you drive the car for 10 miles or so - the short stop and go driving is considered extreme use. Instead of starting and running the car for 10 minutes everyother week - put a trickle charger on the battery and when the weather is good take it out for a spin.
Change oil & fiter,fill up tank to the brim,wash & wax inside out,unclip the top,pump up tire press to 50 psi,disconnect battery,and don't START it,till next spring.!!!

Been storing cars that way since 1979. The only thing I would add is to buy a Battery Tender and keep the battery on a maintenance charge through the winter.
