Putting on a new front bumper
I was wondering (For no reason) how hard would it be to put a new front bumper on an S2000. I think that the hardest part would be that you would have to take off the lights to get to some of the bolts to hold on the front bumper. I want to do a direct swap to another stock one, nothing fancy.
The procedure is very simple. Lights are not required to be removed and it should only take maybe :30 to take the old one off and install the new cover. Much easier if you have an assistant.
I don't know about 30 seconds, unless you're an octopus? 8 bolts on the bottom, 2 screws in the fenderwall, 5 on top front, 2 or 4 other bolts on the inside. It's pretty easy to do and an assistant would be nice but 30 seconds would be amazing.
the first time i took off my bumper...it took me alot of stress and time.....after that...its easy....now i can do it in 10 minutes or so.....
btw...when putting the front bumper back in place near the front fender, under the headlights....is it normal to make it snap into place or do i have to wiggle it in carefully until it goes in(which i think is impossible)
