Took the top down with the car on at the Honda dealership when I took a test drive, salesman didn't say a word about it.

We DID have to slow down to get off the interstate and I basically hit the brakes and the TOP UP switch at the same time and stopped under an overpass. Result - minimal water in the car - I COULD PUT THE TOP UP OR DOWN WHILE MOVING.

like the salesman will know any better - they don't even know their own products

Needless to say, I bought a Prelude... but not from that assclown.Moral of the story... if you want to be a salesman, know your product.
Hi 2KTurkey -
Like I said - many years ago.
The car was a '68, and that incident happened in probably '69-'70. I do not believe any of the first generation Camaros had manual tops. Know my old Corvair Corsa was manual - power was an option.
I may be older but sure am wiser - look what I drive now.
