Predominantly poor redneck towns sure have allot of people that don't like HID.

My sentiments exactly. Careful with that PWT judgement, it may offend some people, and remember...this is not a problem with them , it's a problem with us . Our headlights are the exception to the rule, not the rule. They put up with us, we don't put up with them. Ever been followed by another S2K? I rest my case.

My wife's CL has HIDs, but they don't seem nearly as bright as the S2k's. But then, her car doesn't bounce like a bareback bronc, either.

I was followed by 66 S2Ks and it didn't seem like a problem at all.

I have a similar problem with the city redneck Australians as well ... I always get flashed at least 4 - 5 times a night when I drive my S2K from people on the opposite side of traffic or people I just pass will turn on their high beams and start tailgating me anywhere in Sydney. Damn ... Sometimes, I just drive with my lights off and they flash me as well. What the hell is their problem? Bloody bastards! That's when I get really pissed off and start to screw them in the most unco-ordinated fashion.

Not sure about SoCal, but up in the Bay Area, making less than $50k/yr would likely put one in the poverty range so by THAT definition, we gots lots! and that doesnt include all the non-"W" folks that hate out lights!

I think our HID's with its sharp cut off combined with the stiff suspension does make for a "distracting lightshow" for oncoming and cars in front. My TL has HID's but because it has a diffuser, the edges are softer and you dont get that blue/purple edge of light.
