For the record, Ricks are not JDM or OEM, they are a JDM replica.

But they seem to be almost as good or just as good as OEM / JDM. And certainly cheaper.

edit: You did call them "type", sorry.

I've had it for a couple of years, nothing wrong with them.

First. Rick's is the best.

Second: I ordered the smoked markers. When they arrived there was some overspray silver paint. I contact Rick's and they had replacements in the mail that day with deepest apologies.

Installation was dead simple. Took a clutz like me less than five minutes.

I really liked the smoked look against my sebring silver.

The quality is decent.

The housings look very good, but they are definitely made of thinner plastics than the OEM units. The fit is also just not the same as the OEM's. I have used 2 sets of Ricks so far and both where made slightly larger than OEM and fit a bit too tight. The first unit I actually installed on the car broke the first time I went to remove them and I have never had this problem with OEM units or the German (forgot the name) aftermarket units.

Personally I like Ricks and their customer service is excellent, but their products I have dealt with all seem below the quality I was expecting considering the hype surrounding their name and the premium prices that they charge for the products.

When I removed my OEM side markers, the piece that hold it in place broke off. It's made out of plastic just like Rick's. I did not detect any noticeable differences between the OEM and Ricks.

And for Customer service, it doesn't get any better. They are sending me a new set because of the condensation I complained about earlier.
