I believe Rick's are different than the ones pictured, aren't they? Kind of a flat cover rather than the JDM/OEM. They're different in the installation .pdf. Anyone have input on this?

Get the OEM ones.

 

I've owned both. Rick's sidemarkers have a shinier coating on the inside, which should make them a little brighter. Rick's sidemarkers also do not have the raised lettering molded into the plastic, but to be honest, no one will ever notice. So, to answer your question, Rick's sidemarkers look better.

The reason I've tried both is because my Rick's sidemarkers started leaking soon after I installed them. Plus, the springy clips broke when I took them out to try to get the water out. I returned them for a full refund, no questions asked. Rick's definitely has superior customer service, but the product quality wasn't as good as the JDM ones. Note that plenty of other people have had no problems with their sidemarkers from Rick's, so my experience is not in the majority.

Just get the CR side markers

 

the ricks side markers come with the super white bulbs that have a silver lining around the bulb so you dont see a nasty yellow bulb through the side marker. They are nicer then the jdm ones honestly.
